Agroindustry and storage

Concrete silos and storage cells designed for capacity and operation.

We design and build vertical silos, silo complexes, horizontal storage cells, and receiving and dispatch infrastructure for cereals, oilseeds and other bulk products. We combine concrete structures with steel roofs, conveyor galleries, transfer towers and material handling equipment.

Each facility is configured around the product, required capacity, expected turnover, and loading and unloading circuits. We also consider batch segregation, maintenance access and opportunities for expansion.

Storage engineering

Structural sizing accounts for the properties of the stored material and the actions generated during filling, storage and discharge. Pressures on walls and floors do not arise solely from the weight of the contents: friction, geometry and flow conditions also play a part. We assess concentric and eccentric discharge scenarios and the uneven distribution of forces.

In cylindrical silos, we address circumferential forces and transition zones at hoppers and supports; in horizontal storage cells, lateral pressures on walls, floor loads and interaction with the roof. The design includes foundations, anticipated settlement, connections between elements and reinforcement details. Concrete placement sequences, joints and embedded items are coordinated with the installation of conveying and extraction systems.

Concrete, steel and product preservation

Steel structures are incorporated where the project needs to span large distances, support conveyors or facilitate circulation and maintenance. Roofs, walkways and supports are designed together with their anchors to the concrete, so that connections are not left to be defined later.

We integrate level, temperature and aeration monitoring, with moisture measurement technologies suited to the product. Records help track trends, identify localised heating and guide ventilation and preservation operations; they do not replace grain inspections or storage management.

Automation is coordinated with loading, unloading and aeration equipment. Its design must also account for the risks inherent in grain handling, including combustible dust and the conditions for access to storage spaces.

Let's discuss your project.

Our approach links structural capacity, product preservation and continuity of material handling.
