Concrete structures and integrated technology for energy facilities.
We develop civil infrastructure for power generation, renewable energy and oil and gas facilities. Our scope includes equipment foundations, supports, platforms, secondary containment, technical buildings, access roads and utility ducts, integrated with steel structures and auxiliary services.
Engineering starts with equipment requirements and site conditions. We coordinate loads, vibration, anchors, installation sequences and access with technology suppliers and those responsible for the process.
Foundations and supports for equipment
For dynamic equipment, the design considers operating loads and the response of the combined equipment–structure–ground system. We define geometry, stiffness, mass and anchors according to the required behaviour, rather than treating a machine foundation as a base subjected only to static loads.
For renewables, we address the civil works associated with wind turbines, solar installations, transformer substations and auxiliary services, in accordance with the loads and conditions supplied by the system engineering team.
Where an element's dimensions require it to be treated as mass concrete, we incorporate criteria for placement, temperature development and curing. Heat generation and temperature changes form part of construction analysis and crack control.
Concrete biodigesters
We design and build biodigester enclosures and civil structures, coordinated with feeding, mixing, heating, storage and biogas handling.
The design accounts for liquid loads, thermal conditions and the anticipated gas pressure. Tightness is addressed through the complete system: concrete, joints, penetrations, linings and roof. We assess the aggressiveness of the environment to define protection for surfaces, metal elements and connections.
Integration with digestion technology includes equipment layout, maintenance access and instrumentation points. Process supervision is coordinated with the technology specialist and the plant's operating programme. Digestion systems require process conditions, gas handling, inspection and maintenance to be considered together; civil works are one part of that whole.
Metalwork, sensors and control
We integrate pipe support structures, walkways, platforms and roofs, with protection suited to the environment. Instrumentation may include temperature, pressure, level, flow, vibration and process variables defined for each installation.
Equipment selection accounts for environmental conditions and, where applicable, area classification. Supervision and recording are coordinated with the specific process protection and control systems, without replacing their functions.
Let's discuss your project.
We design the infrastructure that enables energy technology to be installed, connected, operated and maintained.
