Concrete, drainage and instrumentation for traffic.
We design and build roads, access routes, pavements, culverts, retaining structures and complementary transport works. We link road infrastructure with terminals, industrial plants, agroindustrial facilities, mining operations and civil developments.
The design starts with traffic characteristics, geotechnical and hydraulic conditions, and the route's function. We consider traffic capacity together with access, manoeuvring and future maintenance.
Concrete pavements and structures
Pavement design accounts for axle loads, traffic repetitions, subgrade support, supporting layers and drainage. For concrete pavements, we define joints, load transfer mechanisms, edge conditions and construction criteria.
Slab response is also influenced by temperature and moisture changes. Curing control, joint layout and continuity of support are therefore considered alongside traffic loads. Drainage forms part of structural performance; it is not an ancillary work.
Culverts, chambers and retaining structures are coordinated with earthworks and water drainage. Steel elements are incorporated into supports, walkways, barriers and other components according to the technical solution adopted.
Weigh-in-motion integrated into the works
We design the installation of the weighing system together with the pavement, ducts, power supply and communications. Sensors allow gross vehicle weight and axle loads to be estimated as vehicles pass, within the operating conditions of the selected solution.
Site selection accounts for surface evenness, geometry, speed and the stability of vehicle paths. We incorporate calibration, checks and maintenance of the instrumented zone: measurement quality depends on the complete system, not just the sensor.
Suitability for enforcement or commercial use is assessed specifically; it is not assumed simply because weight records are available.
Information for maintenance
We relate traffic and load data to inspections and infrastructure monitoring. Where appropriate, we incorporate structural instrumentation to observe changes at defined points in the project.
Let's discuss your project.
We build the physical infrastructure that supports traffic and incorporate information to manage its use and maintenance.
